Production timeline

(APPROXIMATE TIMELINE)

Day 1-3: Illustration of the product

Day 3-5: Printing the card

Day 6-9: Order is shipped out

Day 10-14: Order arrives

Please note that weekends do not count towards the process as it's not a working day. These are our standard times, this could increase if any unexpected delays occur or if we are in a busy period of the year.

The process starts the next day after you place your order, do not count the day of your order placement towards the production time.

If you are ordering for a special occasion, please order your card in advance to be sure it will arrive on time.

Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 situation worldwide, some couriers are currently experiencing delays meaning delivery times may exceed the estimations we are provided with.

Please note that we can’t control or speed up delivery times once your card is dispatched, as this is down to the courier.

Custom and import fees

The country you live in may or may not impose import duty or taxes on items shipped from abroad. This varies by country and is not something we have control over.

The price you see at checkout does not include any import duties or fees. We are not responsible for paying them should you incur them.

If you have any questions about this, we recommend contacting your local customs office for more information before ordering.

Tracking your order

After placing your order, you’ll receive an email reminding you of our standard order processing time.

We’ll be in regular contact to update your order’s progress.

Here’s what you’ll get from us:

  • An email to let you know when your card has been shipped (this will include a tracking number)
  • Any updates or requests for information needed to complete the card

All orders can be tracked using your tracking number via Royal Mail or Fedex/TrakPak.

Use Royal Mail link if you are in the UK or if your tracking number starts with RV, LP or RL.

Use Fedex/TrakPak if your tracking number starts with DAS174.

If your order has taken slightly longer than the timeframe mentioned, don’t worry.

Why has my package been returned to you?

If your tracking shows that the package is being back to the sender (GotCustomCards) this will most likely be due to an address issue which we have been provided with.

When we receive the package again we will contact you to ask you for your address again and then we will ship it out to you again.

Common issues which cause returns

- Missing house number or name on the delivery address

- Incorrect house number or name on the delivery address

- Recipient was not available for delivery and did not collect the parcel from the collection point
